The MOTU Digital Timepiece is a device that can synchronise digital audio equipment with a stable, high-resolution time base with no dithering, rounding or software delays. With the Timepiece you are able to choose one piece of gear as the master, slave the rest reliably and drive everything from an MMC controller, computer sequencer or DAW.
The Timepiece works with any combination of a MIDI sequencer, Pro Tools, ADAT or Tascam, plus the new digital mixers and outboard. It's particularly suited to working to picture, as it supports all the frame rates including pull‑up and pull‑down, and has Sony 9‑pin control as well.
While this unit powers on and each button functions as intended, it has not been fully tested and is being sold as is.
